I’m an experienced SENCo and Senior Leader in SEND & Inclusion, with a deep-rooted passion for improving outcomes for learners with special educational needs. With expertise in curriculum design, SEND policy development, and a strong track record in developing the capacity of others through strategic CPD and staffing structures, I bring both vision and practical support to the education sector.

 

Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide variety of settings—including mainstream schools, specialist provisions, and local authorities—building sustainable systems and supporting school improvement through a SEND-focused lens. I hold the National Award for SEN Coordination and have also served as Head of a Special School, giving me insight into both operational and strategic leadership in SEND.

• Co-led the DfE-funded Wellbeing for Education Return training
